		<description>To play a little of devil&#039;s advocate to start, it could be argued that going after and receiving large donations will end up bending the organization towards the interests and positions of the wealthy, as it does in the world of politics.  That being said, I think there are some &quot;middle income&quot; progressives around who might throw substancial resourses at such an effort, understanding that the severe underfunding of progressive movements stifles and starves and wilts on the vine that which, given water, could really take off.</description>
